  1. Hitler was a powerful speaker. His words moved and inspired people.
  2. In 1923, Hitler marched to Berlin with hi followers to capture power. He failed and was arrested for treason and later released.
  3. But during the great depression, Nazism became a mass movement.
  4. During the depression nazi party stirred hopes for better future.
  5. By the 1923, the Nazi party become the largest party and Hitler become the chancellor of Germany..

The factors that led to Hitlers's rise to power in Germany include economic,social and political cause that are --

  • He promised to build a strong nation, undo the injustice of  the Versailles Treaty and restore the dignity of the German people.He was an extreme nationalist.
  • He delivered powerful and influencing speeches and was a good orator.
  • Economic crisis and Great depression in Germany.
  • Weimar republic was fragile and unstable.It was unable to provide any solutions for the problems that Germany was facing,this paved the way for dictatorship.
  • The National Socialist German Worker's Party was renamed as Nazi Party was able to get 37 per cent of votes in 1932.
