Rice is a kharif crop and the staple food crop of a majority of people in India

It requires

- high temperature (above 25°C )

- high humidity

- annual rainfall above 100 cm

Andhra Pradesh and west Bengal are the major rice producing states of India. Rubber :- It is an editorial crop,but under special conditions,it is also grown in tropical and sub-tropical areas.It requires moist humid climate with rainfall of more than 200 cm.and temperature above 25°c.
