There are four main features of development

1. Developmental goals of different categories of people are different:- The life situations of different people are different,so their developmental goals are also different.
2. Developmental goals of different categories of people may be conflicting:- It means what is development for some people may be against development of other people.
3. Materials and non material are important for development:-Materials means income or money. It is the most important item for development. Non material item means social facilities like freedom equality justice and respect for others excetra along with income known material things are also important for development.
4. People will have a mix of goals:-People and countries will have a mix of goals for development.People spend their income for different purpose because they want development in all areas.
