A ladder synaptonemal complex is formed.
Pairing of homologous chromosome takes place called synapsis
3. Pachytene-
Exchange of pary of homologous chromosome between non sister chromatids takes this phenomenon called crossing over.
4. Diotene-
Synaptonemal complex disapper
Non sister chromatids remain attached to a specific portion called chaismata.
5. Dikinesis-
