preamble is just like index of our constitution. its lays the set of rules and regulations b4 us. it also tell us how the govt. is going 2 function and what r the punishments that r given for those who violate the rules.

Preamble is the introduction to the constitution and is non justiciable. It contains the political philosophy, aims, objectives and basic purposes of the constitution. It is also called the Soul of the Indian Constitution
