The British decided to build their factories in India as they got the permission form the Mughal rulers .. the British were impressed by the rich fertile land in terms of agriculture, three trading system and the geographical features which includes their easy access to sea and oceans. British were also impressed by the rich trades of spices in India , which were in a great demand in Europe like indigo , cotton , etc .. moreover there was one more reason that includes that there were a lot of opponents of the British including Dutch , protoguese , french who wee planning to move towards Indian subcontinent, for that reasons the British set up their factories in India
