The Parallel government was formed under the leadership of Krantisinh Nana patil and it operated in 250 villages.

It performed many functions of Government. It established market system, supply of food grains and judicial system to sort of disputes and penalize robbers and other offenders.

It also had army named Toofan Sena. It tortured the British government by attacking railways and postal service.

In this way the parallel government was inspiration to others.
