The three terms , Ornithophily , Elephophily and artificial pollination are three different modes of cross pollination ( transferring of pollen grains from the male part of a flower to the female part for fertilization ) .

( a ) Ornithophily -----> The mode of cross pollination that is carried out by birds .

( b ) Elephophily -----> The mode of cross pollination that is carried out by elephants ( as in Rafflesia ) .

( c ) Artificial Pollination -----> The mode of cross pollination that is carried out by humans .

Answer:

1. Ornithophily:- It is defined as the pollination which is done by the bird.eg:- Bignonia, canna etc.

2. Elephophily:- It is the pollination facilitated by elephants. It is found in Rafflesia whose flowers are very large and are found at ground level.

3. Artificial pollinaton:- When man himself transfers pollen to the stigma,it is called artificial pollination.
