Nice question! I want to answer too.

1) Global warming - Due to greenhouse effect, the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere is gradually increasing. This is called global warming. Glaciers will melt at a higher rate and this will lead to rise in the sea level resulting in floods and loss of soil.

2) Greenhouse effect - The greenhouse effect is the atmospheric gases like CO2 absorbing energy from the sun and earth and trapping it near the earth surface warming the earth to a temperature range that is hospitable for life.

3) Normal lapse rate of temperature - The rate at the temperature drops is known as the lapse rate. It is the rate of change in temperature observed while moving upward through the earth's atmosphere.

4) CFCs - Chlorofluorocarbons is an organic compound that contains carbon, chlorine and fluorine produced as a voltile derivative of methane and eathane. When atmosphere released in the atmosphere, they decompose under the ultraviolet radiations.

Hope it helps you.

Explanation:

1) Due to greenhouse effect, the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere is gradually increasing. This is called global warming.Glaciers will melt at a higher rate and this will lead to rise in the sea level resulting in floods and loss of soil.

2) The phenomenon of the earth getting warmer, because the heat of the sun is being retained and not allowed to radiate back is called the greenhouse effect. This is caused by the greenhouse gases such an carbon dioxide, methane,CFCs , ozone and water vapour.Fossil fuels based industries and lifestyles of human beings have resulted in an increase in the levels of these greenhouse gases.

3) The rate of decrease in temperature with altitude in the troposphere is called the Normal Lapse Rate.lt is 1°C for every 166m of altitude.

4) Chlorofluorocarbons is an organic compound that contains carbon , chlorine and fluorine produced as a voltite derivative of methane and eathane. When atmosphere, they decompose under the ultra violet radiations.

l hope u will satisfy with my answer @helper
