Before cloud formation takes place.

Water takes heat from the surrounding to change water into vapours. Heat is realesed back into the surrounding.

When water vapour changes their form from liquid to rain drops. The surrounding heat warms the air around it.

After it warm air rises up and creates a low pressure. More and more air rushes towards the centre of the storm.

This formation or cycle repeated again and again and in last the formation of cyclone takes place.

Answer:To form a cyclone, warm, moist air over the ocean rises upward from near the surface. As this air moves up and away from the ocean surface, it leaves is less air near the surface. So basically as the warm air rises, it causes an area of lower air pressure below.
