In order to complete its Octet, almunium atom loses its 3 electrons and we know that number of proton and number of electrons are equal in an atom. so the number of protons increases in that particular atom i.e.it gains 3 unit positive charges. So Al ion has 3 units positive charge
Hope you liked my answer..

divyaakapoor6: Is it octave or octet?
suprit1729: sorry autocorrection
suprit1729: my apology
divyaakapoor6: :-)
suprit1729: please mark it as branliest... and make my day

In electronic configurational their is 3 electron in their last orbit and to complete octet it loss 3 electron to other atom.

divyaakapoor6: Isn't it kinda incomplete?
AishaSiddiqua: thanks for brainlist tag
divyaakapoor6: That was by mistake and I'm regretting it
