The curd is a dairy product, which is made by the process of fermentation by the lactic acid bacteria.

Lactobacillus is a lactic acid bacteria which convert milk in the curd by the process of fermentation.

It occurs when a milk is heated to a temperature of 30 - 40 degree Celsius and a small amount of inoculum is added to it. The lactobacillus present in the inoculum converts the lactose into the lactic acid by fermentation which causes sour taste to curd.

Curd is prepared from milk as to make curd,milk is warmed a spoonful of curd is added to it and it is set aside for about 6 hours. The bacterium Lactobacillus multiplies in milk and convert it into curd. This bacteria are good for our digestive system.
