long ago there was a large supercontinent called Pangaea and after many million years slowly the continents started drifting apart from each other and India also started moving with a speed of 2 millimetres per year. after reaching the northern hemisphere close to Asia or angora land. when it reached closer to land it hit the angora land and the area got wrinkled known as folding which lead to the formation of Himalayas. it is believed that India is still hitting angora land which is causing the Himalayas to increase its size.
