The renal artery brings the impure blood to the kidneys . The blood enters the glomerulus and all harmful substances are removed from it. The filtered blood is taken by the renal vein back to the heart . The impure substances passes through the Henles tube where substances like glucose, large amounts of water etc are reabsorbed . The remaining waste is goes to the collecting duct where is it called urine and passed to the urinary bladder ! (Ps the amount of urine produced will depend upon the amount of excess water and waste)

Hope this helps ☺️

Formation of Urine:

Urine is produced to release waste products such as Ammonia, urea, uric acid, etc. To produce urine and to filter the waste products, kidney performs several activities. It has the basic filtration unit called nephron. It is associated with the cup-shaped end of the tube that collects filtered urine. Kidney has lots of nephrons.

The cup shaped starting point of the nephron is called Bowmans   capsule which has glomerulus in it. Some substance in the initial filtrate such as glucose, amino acids, salts and a major amount of water are selectively re -absorbed as the urine flows in the tube. The amount od water re-absorbed depends on how much the body has excess water. The urine is taken to the collecting tube which enters into ureter and urinary bladder.
