Structure: Golgi complex is a pile of flattened sacs named cristernae along with small vesicles and tubules present usually near nucleus
In plants they are called dictyosomes.
Function: Golgi bodies concerned with the following functions:
1. Secretion
2. Membrane flow
3. Formation of acrosome of sperms.
4.Formation of lysosomes
5. Formation of complex sugar from simple sugar.
6. Storage,modification and packaging of products in vesicles
