Flower has stamen ,pistil ,petal,sepal
Stamen: it is the male reproductive part it is also called as androecium. It has anther ,filament. The anther produces pollen grains. It helps in pollination.
Pistil: it is the female reproductive part. It is also called as gynoecium. It has stigma ,style, ovary. The ovary produces ovule.
The fusion of stamen and pistil to form zygote is called as fertilisation.
After this the ovary turns into fruit the ovule turns into seed.
Petal: It is the second whorl of the flower. They are brightly coloured. The exhibit fragrance. Their function is to attract the insects for cross pollination..
Sepal: they are the outermost whorl of the flower. They are in green colour. Their function is to protect the inner part of the flower when it is in bud condition.
