When the Malabar coast is receiving heavy rainfall in July;the Tamil Nadu coast is completely dry

this is due to the flow of wind towards the Malabar Coast is more so the Wind blowing with the Malabar Coast bring rain with it but Tamil nadu the wind flow of wind is less so less or dry place is there

this is because the malabar coast is continuous and it totally intercepts the SW monsoon winds coming from the arabian sea.thus when it receives rainfall the tamil nadu coast receives little rain
