Armature - It is a rectangular coil which is placed in an uniform magnetic field. The main function of armature is to rotate the shraft or axel to which it is attached
Brushes - They are attached (not fixed) to the split rings.The main work of these brushes is to transport current from external circuit to the internal circuit
Split rings - They are also known as commutator. The work of split ring ring is to change the direction of current and which leads the rotation of the armature in the same direction.
