It controls the amount of water reabsorbed by the kidney. It stimulates adrenal cortex to make cortisone. It stimulates thyroid gland to produce thyroxine. It stimulates ovary to produce ova and testes to produce sperms. In meals secretion of testesterone. In females ovulation development of Corpus luteum and secretion of progesterone.

2. Thyroid gland is located just below the neck. It is secreted by thyroxine which regulate growth and metabolic rate.

3. Parathyroid gland is just situated near the thyroid. It secrets parathormone which is used for calcium metabolism.

4. Thymus is located in the chest close to the heart. its secrets Thymosin which produces antibodies for our body.

5. Adrenal is situated just above the kidney which produces cortisone and adrenaline hormone. cortisone hormone is produced by outer part and adrenaline hormone produced by inner part. it adds in conversion of proteins and it reduces blood ,pressure ,heart beat and respiration
