Harmful effects of green revolution:
1.) The production of foodgrains can only be increased by the use of HYV seeds and better irrigation facilities.So, it requires a lot of money and better technology.
2.) It has also lead to the soil pollution as it requires chemical fertilizers.
3.) Loss of soil fertility.
4.) Erosion of soil.
5.) Diminishing water resources and also leads to water pollution.
