let refractive index will be x

sin 30° = 1/2

So x = sin i/ sin r

x = (1/2)/sin r

r is the angle

so r = sin^-1(1/2x)

Round your answer to get decimal angles

Note : Make sure the answer is in degree not in radian

RitulKumawat: sin i = 0.5
RitulKumawat: so 1.5 = 1/2sin r ------ sin r = 1/3 . But for solving for r we will get 19°
RitulKumawat: sin r = 1/3 but r = 19.47°
RitulKumawat: angle of reflection = 19°
RitulKumawat: u need to find r instead of sin r
PRATHAMABD: 1/3 i also got
PRATHAMABD: how to convert 1/3 in degree
RitulKumawat: sin r = 1/3. But for angle of reflection the answer is 19°
RitulKumawat: In short sin r = 1/3 and r = 19°
RitulKumawat: And r is required answer
