Human Respiratory System

Nostril :-

Air enters our body through nostril that are present over the upper lips.

Pharynx :-

The nasal chamber opens into the pharynx, which is a common passage for both food and air.

Larynx :-

It is cartilaginous box that help in sound production. This is also called the sound box.

Epiglottis :-

During digestion, glottis is covered by a cartilaginous flap called epiglottis to prevent the entry of food particles into the larynx.

Trachea :-

It is a straight tube that extends from larynx to the thoracic religion.

Lungs :-

There are to lungs in human body. Hence, the bronchi are divided into bronchioles. At the end of the bronchi, there are tiny air sacs called alveoli.
