Industrialisation in the remote areas has given rise to high-tech industries specifically in the tribal belts. One of the major impacts is the loss of identity of the tribal population.

Major tribal belts are vacated and shifted to other places to give place for the development of industries, and due to this their customs and rituals are challenged.

The tribal population is often disrespected in the presence of other religions which are more advanced and organised. Also, tribal modes of crafts and cultivation start fading.

However, there are positive impacts as well as the tribal population is exposed to better ways of life such as sanitation, education, alternative modes of income, etc.
