First let me explain what a resource actually is. Anything which satisfies human needs is known as a resource. In order to fulfill the needs man needs to conserve resources. If man has to use the resources in future he must  conserve them so that they don't finish. Now a question arises, how can man conserve resources? Man can conserve resources by-
1. Following the 3Rs (i.e.reduce, reuse, recycle)
2. Discovering alternate resources (alternate resources are resources that we have in bulk and are renewable, wind energy is a alternate resource.

Today,the non-renewable sources of energy means conventional sources of energy are being disappeared.That is why we have to use the renewable sources of energy like solar energy,wind energy,tidal energy,CNG etc.Therefore to protect the conventional sources of energy we have to conserve it because they are very less in quantity
