Sustainable development is the development of a country not only at present but the development which is to be continued and maintained for the use of future generations. Ex: Groundwater is a natural resource that is replenished by rain. Recent evidence shows that groundwater is at serious risk of overuse in many parts of india .Nearly One-third of the country is overusing groundwater and if this continues then 60% of the country would end up doing the same in the next 25 years. People should not overuse and degrade the quality of water so that future generations may also be able to use it.
