:-The Indus River System flows from Tibet,into Jammu and Kashmir and the rest part of Pakistan. The Indus River system is the greatest river on the western bank of the subcontinent,and is one of the seven sacred rivers of India.It was earlier the birthplace of Harappa and Indus Valley Civilization.

:-It comprises the Kabul river and Kurram river in the right(in Afghanistan) to Chenab,Jhelum,Ravi,Satlej and Beas rivers on the left.It is important for agricultural and other food crops like Wheat,Kharif crops in Punjab, Sind and

western parts of INDIA as well.
