Explain the intellectualist theories of religion.

religion is a important theme for a person who belongs to a particular religion.such as hindu,muslim etc. now see if you are ahindu and if anybody makes your religion fun than you will become angry.than you can see here that religion is main theme of life....

he Nature-Myth School:

These intellectuals theories associated with the nature-myth school which had to be claimed before the spirit and soul hypotheses could be common. Some of the theories are;

The nature-myth academy was a German School, administering with Indo-European Religions. According to it, antique Gods were extensively representations of physical sensations. Max Muller, a German scholar, propounded this doctrine. In his evaluation, grand ordinary objects gave people perception of the absolute as well as served as representatives of the absolute.

The Ghost Theory:

Unlike Max Muller, Herbert Spencer and Edward Tylor concentrated their study on the Orthodox practice of the primitives. In their view, natural communities submitted testimony of the advanced modes of Religion. Spencer announced his appearances in 1882, 11 years after Tylor had proclaimed his work on Primitive Culture in 1871.
