Hey guys

Right to Equality offers every person in India equality before Law.

No person is above the Law and there is no distinction between a political leader, government official and an ordinary citizen.

The exception is the provision of reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled tribes and Other Backward Castes since equality means giving everyone an equal opportunity which leads to provision of special treatment to ensure equal opportunity.

The constitution says that the gvt shall not deny to any person in india equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws.

Evry citizen i.e, The P. M to a small farmer in a remote village is subjected to the same laws

the gvt shall not discriminate against any citizens on grounds only of religion race caste sex or place of birth

public places should be access to evryone

equal oppurtunities in the matter of employment

Equality means giving everyone an equal oppurtunity evryone is capable of.. the main reason behind this law was to abolish the practices of untouchability and cruel dicrimination of caste system

Hope this helps
