Major Factors which are responsible for the formation if soil are as follow:

Composition of Parent Rock:

it determines the basic characteristic of soil . the inorganic elements and minerals that soil contain will be similar to those contained in the parent rock.

Time of Soil Formation:

the nature of the soil also depends on the time period for which the parent materials have been exposed to weathering and have supported vegetation. the longer the time a soil has taken to form, the more mature it will be.

Topography:

thought factor influencing soil formation is topography. If the land is Billy, the soil will be was to down as fast as it forms . such areas have thin, immature soils.

Climate:

developing soil are influenced most by climate. temperature and moisture influence the rate of physical and chemical weathering, and determine the rate of soil formation. decomposition of organic matter in the soil is also influenced by climate.

Living Organisms:

organisms such as earthworm are important in aerating( to supply with air or exposed to the circulation of air) the soil as they burrow through it. roots of plants also aerate the soil, while holding it thereby checking soil erosion.
