Hello there,

There are two ways through which more than one electric cells can be joined with each other.

Series and parallel.

In a series circuit, The cells are joined beside each other in a horizontal manner with help of connecting electric wires through which the current passes effectively.

In a parallel circuit, the electric cells are places vertically above each other and joining through electric wires for successful transfer of current.

Thanks for asking.
