Poem Casabianca

Explanation:

These lines mean that - as all the people who were on the ship were running for their lives, the boy stood there, waiting for his father's permission; he was so loyal and faithful to his father. He kept on asking from his dead father ' Father, may I leave now? And as his father was already dead he could not reply ; the boy stood there, still and calm , and as he didn't get any order from his father to leave the ship , he didn't move and as a result when the ship blasted he died . That's why he is described as the noblest thing because he was so loyal and patriotic to his father that he did not want to disobey him and kept waiting till the end and even had to lose his life because of his obedience towards his father , when the ship blasted.
