Explain the mechanism of feedback control of hormones?

The timing and amount of hormone released is regulated by feedback mechanism. For example, if sugar level in blood rise it is detected by cells of pancreas and they produce more insulin. Similarly when sugar level falls, insulin secretion is reduced.
