the alternate systole (contraction) and diastole (relaxation )of the auricles and ventricles followed by a short for is called as cardiac cycle
include following three phases
1) the atrial systole : industry auricles contract to from the blood into the respective ventricle like impure blood of right auricle to right ventricle and pure blood from left auricle to left ventricle
2) ventricular systole : In this phase ventricles contact to pump the blood into the Pulmonary artery and aorta
3) complete Cardiac diastole: it is the first place in which both auricles and ventricles relaxed
during this period the blood from Vena cava and the pulmonary veinsempited into the auricles .The time period taken for one heart beat is 0.8 seconds .The rate of heart beat in a healthy person is approximately 72 times /minute

U r answer goes here :
Heart has four chambers
i》Right atrium
ii》 Right Ventricle
iii》Left atrium
iv》Left Ventricle
so first the blood enters into the right atrum through the pulmonary artery and then it is sent to right Ventricle. Then from the right ventrical it enters into the left atrium. At this time we will here the dull sound "LUB" then it goes to the left Ventricle and again the blood is pumped back to the pulmonary veins to the lungs. At this moment we will hear the sharo sound "DUB"
hope it helps u dude
