Explain the mechanism that acts in our body to maintain blood sugar levels rise or fall

the blood sugar level is controlled by regulating insulin and glucagon secretion by islets of Langerhans....when insulin level rises the blood sugar level decreases and when glucagon level increases the blood sugar level increases...thus insulin promotes excess blood sugar utilisation and glucagon promotes using up of excess of blood sugar deposits

Insulin is a hormone that regulates our blood sugar level by converting it into glucagon which can be stored.

Hence, if there is more levels of sugar in blood then more insulin is produced and if the sugar level is less than insulin production is also reduced.

This is because of feedback mechanism where the blood sugar itselfacts as a feedback for more or reduced insulin synthesis.
