Naturalism refers to the philosophical doctrine where it opposes idealism in the interpretation of reality.
It is therefore concerned with its real self. It asserts the idea that the ultimate reality is actually matter as opposed to the spirit or the mind. It therefore denies the existence of spiritualism or any of its ideas or values for that matter.
