hi friends
define solid❣️
a substance which is hard and firm
solid particles are closely packed together.
solid doesn't flow.
solid doesn't compress much.
solid doesn't fill its container completely.
eg. tree, stone, etc....
define liquid❣️
a substance which flows easily
liquid particles are closely packed but not as solid.
liquid flow easily.
liquid compress much.
liquid doesn't fill its container completely.
eg. milk, oil, water, etc......
define gas❣️
a substance which gives a shape.
gas generally flow.
gas compress easily.
gas fill its container completely.
eg. co2, etc....
thank you

.
●Solid
-Molecules are tightly packed and are held with strong intermolecular forces. As a result they have high boiling and melting points.
●Liquid
-Molecules are packed a little loosely and allow movement.
●Gases
-Molecules are packed extremely loosely as compared to that of liquids.
