When a stimulus acts upon body of an organism then it has to react in a manner which is in the best interest of its body. The reaction which we give to the stimulus involves many organs of body. It is therefore necessary that all concerned organs should work with one another in a systematic manner so as to produce the required reaction. For this there should a efficient mechanism for controlling various organs.
The working together of the various organs of an organism in a systematic manner so as to produce a proper response to the stimulus is called coordination.
