An objective describes a state in the future which is different from the present state and is desirable. Objectives provide orientation for individuals and organisations, for society, politics, science, research or business and economics.

These objectives are social justice, economic justice and political justice. In should be made a Welfare State. Fraternity should be ensured and there should be harmony between the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.

Preamble declares India to be a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic. The objectives stated by the Preamble are to secure justice, liberty, equality to all citizens and promote fraternity to maintain unity and integrity of the nation.
