Hello ❤ ❤

Here is your answer dood ❗ ❗

Origin of spectrum

spectrum is a condition that is not limited to a specific set of values but can vary with out steps across the Continuum. thethe word first used scientifically in Optics to describe the rainbow of colours is visible light after passing through a Prism scientific understanding of light advance it can to apply to the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Hope it's helpful

Mark this is brainlist ✌ ✌

Anonymous: thats only visible spectrum you described
Anonymous: The real origin of spectrum is emission spectrum
Anonymous: which is emitted when an excited electron returns to its ground state
kashif5095: Ya due to excitation of electrons..
Anonymous: yep
kashif5095: i was describing in terms of optics..
Anonymous: one can use this phenomenon to explain the spectrum from sun
Anonymous: what prism does is just splits the pre existing spectrum into constituent colours
Anonymous: so you cannot say it to be the origin of spectrum

Explanation:

Band spectra are very complex and originate in molecules. Line spectra are of varying degrees of complexity and have their origin in atoms. ... Theories of the origin of spectra, and, of the constitution of atoms, are thus largely based upon investigations of regularities in the arrangement of spectral lines and bands
