Well the passage is about the changing nature of Human beings. It has described about how we human being have change what we love and what we should use. Let's take example of moblie only. We all know that we are more comfortable to hide secrets in moblie rather than sharing with our own mother which was not happening earlier. Here, we are now loving phone and using our mom who buys phone for us.

Explanation Of The Passage

  • It is our basic human nature that our craving to belong. Since we perceive ourselves as separate from the world and other life, just another drip of consciousness that will eventually vanish and discontinue to exist, it can get deserted at times.

  • Humans have a basic need for love and empathy and when it gets on unfulfilled it yields in hostile behaviour in the shape of selfishness, ego and suspicion.

  • To compensate, we wish to attain things, maintain them, to make ourselves greater. The reasoning goes "if the entire world is not me, then at least I can strive to compensate by bringing it mine".

  • Other separate beings do similar and together build a culture that starts up to value ownership more than people, who are solely competitors standing in the direction of our proficiency to attain more for ourselves.

  • Even if one wishes to break unrestricted, our fundamental human desire to pertain keeps many of us arrested in the same consumptive progression, afraid to shift for fear of being ostracized by the limited connections we do have to our friends and family.
