biological magnification means the concentration of harmful chemicals at different trophic levels

let us take for example

a farmer applies pesticides to his crop and irrigates it the chemicals get washed away in to a river nearby .this chemicals get deposited on the ground and is taken by plants . fish in turns eat this plants . finally man catches this fish and eats it completing the cycle and hence humans are the final ending accumulation of chemicals in his body. the concentration of chemicals ultimately gets accumulated in his body leading to various illness.
