why we use tungsten wire in bulb

We use tungsten wire in bulb as they have highest melting point, greatest tensile strength and lowest vapour pressure. So, because of these properties they are used in bulb.

we use tungsten because its melting point is very high so, that it get very hot and emits light.
Melting point of tungsten is 3380 degree.
