Babyhood is the time when the babies are completely dependant upon the parents and the caregivers for their protection and care.
Consistent and adequate along with gentle care can encourage the infant to develop the capacity to trust other people.
The babies are bonding with their mother hence there should be gentle physical handling.
This is also the stage where seevral emotional milestones such as attachment of the baby to the adults is taking place along with early trust develops and the eating and sleeping schedules vary greatly.
The babies also experience physical changes such as moving their head and being able to lift up their head to the tummy.
