French decided to colonise Vietnam. Which is based on economic exploitation and Civilising mission. There were two broad opinions: 1) French thought to teach only French in Vietnam which would bring Asiatic France To French administrators.2) On the other side Vietnamese suggested that Vietnam should be taught in small classes and French in higher classes.
There main aim is to colonies the Vietnam. By which they constructed canals at Mekong Delta region.
