- Equal Representation : Constitution prescribes equal representation of French and dutch speaking people in central government.
- Sharing of Powers : Central government has given some powers to state government. State government are not subordinate to the central government
- Separate Government in Belgium : Belgium has a separate government with equal representation of French and Dutch speaking people.
