During retreating monsoon the pressure gradually becomes low in the northern Ganga plains and the pressure becomes low in that region. Due to the apparent movement of the sun rays from the north towards south the pressure will be first more in north then when it keeps coming down the pressure also keeps decreasing gradually and the rainfall will also go in that way from north slowly in the mid India and then will shed moisture in the south. The duration of retreating monsoon is October and November....
