Answer

The large globules of fats are broken down by bile salts into smaller globules. This process is called emulsification. The pancreas secretes pancreatic juice which contains lipase for breaking down emulsified fats. Lipase converts these fats into fatty acids and glycerol. Fat digestion takes place in small intestine. This digested fat is absorbed into the body through the villi by diffusion.

Answer:

Explanation:

Lipids, or fat, go undigested in your digestive tract until they reach your small intestine, where they meet bile. Bile contains bile salts, which act as an emulsifier of lipids. This breaks the large fat droplets into smaller droplets that are then easier for the fat-digesting enzyme pancreatic lipase to digest.
