Osmosis is the movement of water molecules from their region of higher concentrations means a dilute solution or with the lower solute concentration to the region of lower concentration means the concentrated solution of the highest solute concentration through a semipermeable membrane. They are of two types and Endosmosis and Exosmosis.

heyyyy mate.......

Osmosis is the movement of liquid molecules from a higher concentration to a lower concentration through a partially permeable membrane.

1. An example of osmosis can be the intake of water molecules in plants.  Plant absorb water from the earth through the process of osmosis.

2. Another example is the process by which water absorbs by the sponge when a dry sponge is settled in a container of water. Water replenishes the vacant places of the sponge until the consistency inside and outside of the sponge is normalized.

hope it helps.....

plzzz mark as brainliest..........
