The water cycle is the continuous movement of water all around earth.
There are 4 main stages in water cycle:
evaopration
condensation
precipitation
Runoff
when the sun shines , the water from oceans or lake evaporates due to heat from the sun. when it evaporates it turns into water vapour and goes up into the atmosphere. this water vapour gets together with other water vapour and turns into clouds. when clouds dense, they drop the water back to earth in some form of precipitation like rain, snow, hail etc.when water falls back down to earth, they find their way on the ground surface into streams, rivers etc.
again this water will evaporate and whole cycle starts again
