Quantum theory is which helps us in understanding of some phenomenon which cannot be explained with the help of classical physics. like black body radiation..etc

The atoms or matter itself which we know starts to defy the laws of physics at extreme temperatures either hot or cold

for instance if we could reduce the temperature to 0kelvin which is not possible but if we could attain that temperature that would defy Heisenberg's uncertainty principle (which states that position and the momentum of an particle cannot be simultaneously found) as the particles won't have energy to move.

note: we were able to only reduce the temperature to 1 Pico kelvin as of now
